Kayaking & Geocaching - Teen

Join instructors from the Outdoor Recreation School of Three Rivers Park District for an afternoon of kayaking and geocaching. Begin by learning the basics of Global Positioning System GPS technology, master the buttons and functions of GPS units, then hunt for hidden treasures. For the second half of the program, participants will head to the water to learn kayaking basics including water safety, proper paddle techniques, and boat control. Equipment and personal flotation device provided for the program.
