Description

Enjoy a pet-friendly parade to the Bark in the Park event! The parade will start at 5:45 p.m. with the City of Chaska Parks and Recreation staff leading the way. The parade route will travel along the sidewalks from Veteran's Park to Firemen’s Park. Following the parade will be the annual Bark in the Park vendor fair and doggie obstacle course.

Parade participants may come as a “Unit, (up to 6 people)” create a float or come dressed in a favorite costume, play an instrument, decorate their bikes, or bring the family pet (on a leash or in a cage). $5 per unit (up to 6 people).

Awards and prizes will be given for the Largest Pet, the Smallest Pet, Best Costume, Best Decorated Bike and Best Overall Decoration/Unit.

Activity meeting dates

Check-in and same-day registration starts at 5:00 PM. Parade line-up will be at 5:30 PM with the parade starting at 5:45 PM.

By registering for the Pet Parade, you agree that you (and/or your child) will follow any rules dictated by the Chaska Parks and Recreation staff to provide a safe and healthy environment for participants and parade watchers. If you (or your children) do not, you understand that you will be required to leave the program. Pets must be on a leash or in a cage.
