OWL PROWL
Museum of the Grand Prairie, Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, 5:30- 7:30 p.m.
Why prowl for owls now? Many species are most active in the winter months, because they are breeding or nesting. That means we have a better chance of hearing or seeing a live owl in the wild! This program begins indoors with a presentation, and participants will have the chance to dissect owl pellets and take them home. $3 per person. Recommended for ages 4 and up. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Space is limited; registration required by February 6 at ccfpd.org. All attendees (adults and children) must register in advance.
