Walk with a Naturalist (December)

For our final “Walk with a Naturalist” of the year, we are heading back to Lake of the Woods Forest Preserve, our first forest preserve and the reason we are celebrating 75 years! We’ll walk the trails of Buffalo Trace Prairie and discuss current and future projects in this trail system while looking for signs of winter among the wildlife. During this walk, participants will also have the opportunity to collect natural materials and evergreen cuttings to make a winter bouquet to take home.
