Description

Boulder Library Bldg 61 Makerspace Art Project

In June, makerspace staff will guide participants through creating a dye sublimation mug with a printing technique that uses heat to transfer a long-lasting infused ink image onto an object. All materials provided and attendees will leave with a completed creation. No prior experience necessary.

Participants who wish to email a photo of their choice from their smartphone to the makerspace staff to print for this project during class are encouraged to inquire with staff at the beginning of class.

No transportation provided.

There is no fee, this activity is provided courtesy of the Boulder Library Foundation.

The venue is in the North Wing of the Main Library, in the hallway behind the theater, accessible through the Canyon Gallery entrance or by crossing the interior bridge from the Main Library Arapahoe entrance.

Parking: The first 90 minutes of parking at the library are free, you must register at the kiosk. An additional 90 minutes may be purchased for $1.25/hour. Kiosks accept credit cards and coins. Registrants may also park at the West Age Well Center and walk to the library.
