Meet-up: Movie at Boulder Library District’s Canyon Theater
The Wizard of Oz (1939)
An American musical film adaptation of L. Frank Baum's 1900 children's fantasy novel "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" where Dorothy meets characters such as a scarecrow, a tin man, and a lion, before seeking help from the Wizard to return home to family. Co-sponsored by Boulder Older Adult Services and the Boulder Public Library District. Please arrive early to find a seat, coffee provided by library staff prior to film. Doors open at 12:30, movie begins at 1:00 p.m.
The venue is in the North Wing of the Main Library, accessible through the Canyon Gallery entrance or by crossing the interior bridge from the Main Library Arapahoe entrance.
Parking: The first 90 minutes of parking at the library are free, you must register at the kiosk. An additional 90 minutes may be purchased for $1.25/hour. Kiosks accept credit cards and coins. Registrants may also park at the West Age Well Center and walk to the library.
Accessibility: Six accessible seating areas, stage accessibility via side stage doors and backstage entrance, assisted listening devices with over the ear amplification or T-coil neck loop and closed captions when available.
