Electric Bikes and Boulder B-Cycle
Electric bicycles are becoming more common and popular. City of Boulder and Boulder B-Cycle, a nonprofit bike-share operator, launched one of the first station-based bike-sharing programs in the U.S. in 2010. All the bikes are now electric. Join Boulder B-Cycle General Manager Kevin Crouse to learn how the program works, where and how to access the bikes, free and discounted programs, and more. City Transportation staff will also be available to answer questions. After a presentation in the West Age Well Center, participants will walk a short distance to the B-Cycle station outside the Library to learn how electric bikes work, how to operate them safely, and how to use the stations.
