Description

The Biology of Aging

This online seminar will review the biological processes that lead to aging in an easy to understand format, without a focus on aging related diseases. Participants will learn what actually happens when the body ages, as well as healthy lifestyle practices that have been proven to actually slow the aging process.

Presenters: Dr. Craighead, PhD and Narissa McCarty, senior master student from University of Colorado Boulder Integrative Physiology of Aging Laboratory. Dr. Craighead obtained his PhD in cardiovascular physiology from The Pennsylvania State University and has taught numerous courses on the science of healthy aging.
