2025 Boerne Family Fishing Tournament

Join us for our annual Boerne Family Fishing Tournament! This FREE event is designed to introduce the sport of fishing to children while offering a safe & welcoming environment for parents and children to enjoy the great outdoors!

This tournament is held on the first Saturday of June, which is 'Free Fishing Day' in Texas, meaning adults participating in the event are NOT REQUIRED to have a fishing license.

Registration Instructions:

1. Select the Adult as the Participant
2. List ALL participating children in the enrollment details (First & Last Name & Age of child on June 7th, 2025)
3. PLEASE DO NOT REGISTER THE SAME CHILDREN MULTIPLE TIMES WITH DIFFERENT ADULTS

Tournament Schedule:

• Saturday, June 7th, 2025
• Boerne City Lake Park, 21 Upper Cibolo Creek Rd, Boerne Tx 78006
• Picnic Table left of the boat ramp
• Check-in: 7:30-9:00am
• Pre-Tournament Meeting: 8:45am
• Fishing Tournament & Measurements: 9:00-11:00am
• Awards & Raffle: 11:00am-12:00pm

Team Categories / Age Groups:

- Child 8 & Under with Adult 18 or older

- Child 9-12 with Adult 18 or older

- Child 13-17 with Adult 18 or older

*Identification will be needed if age is protested or questioned so please have it available.*

Judging Categories per Age Group:

- Longest Bass

- Longest Perch/Sun Fish

- Most Fish

- Longest "Other" Fish

*ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN FISHING GEAR, BAIT, ETC!*
