Adult Acting Technique (Level Two)

BlackRock Artistic Director Kelly Chauncey leads this class! An open discussion of techniques and concepts learned in previous acting classes or experiences students will work to figure out what works or has worked for them and what has not. Students are exposed to a series of emotionally and intellectually challenging Monologues, Scenes and Scripts. They will be challenged to uncover their deepest vulnerabilities while learning how to use those vulnerabilities as their baseline for ALL Character work.

Students will go through a rigorous process of exploring their choices in relation to dramatic value, tone and style. Working on more complex and layered script, dialogue and objectives, students will be encouraged to always make the "HOT CHOICE" as well as developing the understanding of the power of the unspoken words.
