Description

Bellingham Parks & Recreation is partnering with the Bellingham Contra Dance community to offer a series of free introductory workshops to teach Contra dancing. Contra is a style of American folk dancing, performed to live music with a caller teaching each dance and calling out the various steps. No partner or experience is necessary! At the completion of each free workshop, the regularly scheduled Contra dance will then take place from 7:30-10:00 pm with a suggested donation of $12-$15 for adults and $8 for students. Come dance and have a ball! Masks are optional. Learn more at bellinghamcountrydance.org.
