Sensory Friendly Swim Time

Apex Center pool offers a sensory-friendly swim time to accommodate individuals with autism or other conditions who may be sensitive to a noisy, crowded environment.

The pool area remains quieter and less busy in these sessions, with spray features and music turned off. Lifeguards also do not use whistles during the session.

Swimmers can enjoy the play structure pool, family spa, and activity pool, with the large slide opening for the last fifteen minutes for those tall enough to ride.

The event must have a minimum of 10 participants. Public open swim begins 15 minutes after the conclusion of the sensory swim time.
