Music Appreciation:The Meaning & Stories Behind Rock Songs

Listen to some of your favorite songs from a different perspective. The format of this course will be a Q&A so participants can state what they think the song is about (optional, no one has to talk); then the instructor will give the meaning of the song or the story behind the song; and then will play the song so that the participants can listen to the song anew. And while major artists like The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, Joan Baez, The Kinks, Phil Collins and more will have songs in the course, so will artists such as Bush, Dido, Semisonic, Fastball,& Coldplay and more.
