Description
Chair Yoga, exercise and exercise with adapted asanas are designed to be suitable for anyone. It is based on asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques) to improve muscle tone, flexibility, coordination and balance. Anyone can practice, your instructor will teach a range of poses, Tadasana (Mountain Pose with Cat/Cow, Bharadvajasana I (Bharadvaja's Twist)Tittibhasana (Firefly Pose) to name a few. Come join the fun!
Week 1:
The Breath (pranayama), Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations)
Week 2: The Foundation and Core
Warrior (Virabhadasana) Side angle (Uttihita Parsvakonasana)
Week 3: The heart Center Coba, Crescent Lunge, Bridge
Week 4: The Spine: Seated Twists and Side Strethces
Week 5: The Hips; Triangle, Pigeon, Janu Sirsasana, Bandha Konasana
Week 6: The Balance; Spinal Balance, Tree, Eagle
Week 7: The Hold; Chair, Prayer Twist, Plank/Side Plank (Vassisthasana)
Week 8: The Flow; Gentle Vinyasa Flow
