Description
Hatha Yoga, Pradipika and the Gheranda samhita are derived from older Sanskrit. Hatha Yoga is the practive of Pradipika, Swatmarama introduces his system as preparatory stage for physical purification that the body practices for higher meditation . It is based on asanas (postures) and pranayama (breathing techniques).
Week 1:
The Breath (pranayama), Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutations)
Week 2: The Foundation and Core
Warrior (Virabhadasana) Side angle (Uttihita Parsvakonasana)
Week 3: The heart Center Coba, Crescent Lunge, Bridge
Week 4: The Spine: Seated Twists and Side Strethces
Week 5: The Hips; Triangle, Pigeon, Janu Sirsasana, Bandha Konasana
Week 6: The Balance; Spinal Balance, Tree, Eagle
Week 7: The Hold; Chair, Prayer Twist, Plank/Side Plank (Vassisthasana)
Week 8: The Flow; Gentle Vinyasa Flow
