Radical Robotics with Nutty Scientists @ Wines

Grades K-5th. Who knew that robots could do that?!?!? Join the Nutty Scientists to explore the amazing technology of robotics! Students will use different types of robots (Ozobot EVO, Sphero and Lego Boost) throughout this 6-week course as they design and build robots, solve "NUTTY" robot challenges, and even learn about coding with programmable robots! Robots, Robots, Robots! Instructor: Nutty Scientists staff. 6 classes.

Focus of each class:

I'd like you to meet...EVO
Pair with a friend and jump into the evolving universe of ROBOTS, hand in hand with the amazing Ozobot EVO. It's not as hard as we always thought it was! You will now be introduced to the world of robots and learn how they work.

Look what EVO can do
Now that we know what Evo can do, it's time to put him to the test. Solve some "Nutty" challenges using your robot programming skills. It is incredible what these little robots can do!

Sphero SPRK+
It is easy to mistake Sphero for a billiard ball, but he is SO MUCH MORE! Fast, smart and ready for new robot masters to train and control him! In this first week with Sphero we learn controls and basic coding commands and start to unleash his power.

Sphero REVISITED
Now that we know what Sphero can do, it's time to put him to the test! Challenges and Coding Assignments await. Truly unleash the potential of SPHERO!

Lego BOOST
We step into the incredible world of Legos as we design and build some incredible robotic creations with Lego Boost. We focus on the building to prepare our robots for Lego featuring programming and coding of our creations!

Now that our robots are ready, it's time to see what they can do! All skill levels welcome, from basic coding up to experienced programmers, the sky is truly the limit!

excitement with their young students.
