Grade Kindergarten - 5th Grade, Mixed
Youth Art

Description

Grades K-5th. This fall, a bountiful selection of drawings begins with a world of line art as students create a stylized tarantula and continue with a study of Van Gogh's unique style of rendering sunflowers using color and light to evoke atmospheric effects. Each student develops the figurative character by creating a unique scarecrow and tasty still life of taffy apples proves that shading and color combinations can please anyone's sweet tooth!
Late fall session starts as students draw a collection of their favorite emoji's in a unique collage format. The importance of facial exaggeration and body gesture will be showcased in our illustrations featuring cartoon baseball characters and some unusually monstrous ogre expressions. Enjoy learning foundational skills that will last a lifetime! Instructors: Young Rembrandts: Foundation of Creative Vision staff. 5 classes.

Testimonials:
My daughter has really enjoyed the Power of Drawing. The instructor is nice and very knowledgeable about art. They do projects that are challenging, but that they can be successful at.

My daughter has been telling me that "I have to have to take the drawing class again" "please please sign me up again". "If I only choose one thing to sign up next semester, that will be the drawing class!!"
